As we explore the best watches under €10,000, I’m excited to share my personal favorites. While this selection is undoubtedly subjective, I tend to gravitate towards classic designs that have stood the test of time. 
Rolex Submariner (Ref. 124060)
Kicking things off is the Rolex Submariner, a true icon in the watch world. Recently, I had the chance to experience the Rolex Sub Date (Ref. 126610LN), and I found myself torn. While I appreciated its technical excellence and archetypal design, it felt almost too perfect. In today’s market, however, the Ref. 124060 stands out as one of the best watches under €10K.
Priced at approximately €9,500, the Submariner is an exceptional value when you consider its build quality, versatility, and heritage. Few watches can rival its timeless appeal and potential resale value. With waiting lists becoming more manageable, it’s now possible to acquire one with a bit of effort. 
Zenith Chronomaster Revival Shadow
Next up is the Zenith Chronomaster Revival Shadow, priced at €9,600. This micro-blasted titanium watch has a 37mm diameter but wears larger due to its elongated case. Inside, it features the legendary El Primero caliber, making it a compelling choice.
What draws me to this chronograph is its monochromatic aesthetic and subtlety. The anthracite case adds warmth, while the finishing and the smooth operation of the chronograph exemplify high craftsmanship. The click of its pushers and the sweep of the 36,000 BPH movement enhance the overall experience. 
IWC Big Pilot’s Watch 43
For my final pick, I present the IWC Big Pilot’s Watch 43, priced at €9,700. This choice might raise eyebrows, especially since it isn’t as technically impressive as the Submariner or the Zenith. However, it resonates with me on an emotional level.
The Big Pilot’s retro aesthetic and oversized presence make it a standout piece. While it might require more justification compared to the other two, its bold design and unique character truly captivate me. In the end, it’s about how a watch makes you feel, and this one speaks to me in a special way.
My three selections for the best watches under €10K barely scratch the surface of what’s available. Notably absent is the Omega Speedmaster Professional, which I chose to leave for other enthusiasts to highlight. Similarly, I had to exclude the Rolex Explorer 124270, opting to limit my list to one Rolex. 
If pre-owned replica watches were on the table, I’d consider options like the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso or Polaris, or even a neo-vintage Submariner Ref. 14060. Vintage dress watches from Vacheron Constantin and Audemars Piguet would also be contenders.
